The FGDC supports NSDI training through a distributed network of
partners including State GIS Coordinators, Federal Agency Liaisons,
university GIS programs, non-profit organizations, private sector
businesses and other NSDI stakeholders.
NSDI training has traditionally focused on Geospatial Metadata and NSDI Clearinghouse implementation to aid individuals
in documenting and publishing their geospatial data resources. To
better address the needs of the geospatial community, the National
Geospatial Programs Office (NGPO) has initiated development of a more
comprehensive NSDI Training
Program.
- Identify or register an NSDI training event at the FGDC Event Calendar. You must register at the site to post information.
- Locate or register as an NSDI trainer at the FGDC Trainer Registry
- Download the evaluation form for federally sponsored NSDI-related training/workshops
- Access available Training Materials from
FGDC and NSDI Stakeholders.
